Dr. Charles William Dickey

Dr. Charles William Dickey is a researcher at Stanford’s Precision Neurotherapeutics Lab and a resident psychiatrist at Stanford Medical Center. He holds an MD and a PhD in Neurosciences from UC San Diego, where he trained under Professor Eric Halgren to study the neurophysiology of human memory. Currently, he is investigating the neurophysiological mechanisms of TMS, including how TMS induces neuroplasticity underlying its therapeutic effects.
Dr. Dickey’s background is rooted in understanding how the brain coordinates complex signals to learn and adapt. At Bridge, he is dedicated to translating these deep neuroscientific insights into next-generation treatments, with a specific interest in using neuromodulation to improve outcomes for individuals facing neuropsychiatric disorders.
